It's a composting merical!

When I started composting for the first time Tara's nephew bought a cabbage. We used about 1/3 of it and I composed the rest. I completely forgot about it until I was checking my compost pile.

For about a month this young cabbage stayed in the dark. With the nutrients from the compost and 0 sunlight for about a month she kept growing. She was worm, wet with lots of food and she came back from the dead. I did not think that cabbage could do this like green onions or other vegetables. I have to say I am very proud of her. She is now in my main shade garden and has some proper compost and soil mix around the mother cabbage. I will keep you updated.
